1. Our mission


Our faith-based foundation is dedicated to reducing maternity and infant mortality rates worldwide by empowering communities through volunteerism, education, and generous donations. Guided by our belief in the sanctity of life, we strive to provide essential healthcare resources and support to mothers and children, fostering hope and health for future generations.

Did you know?

Approximately 295,000 women die each year from complications related to pregnancy and childbirth.

The global maternal and infant health landscape is marked by significant disparities and challenges. Of those 295,000 deaths, 94% occur in low- and middle-income countries.

Our faith-based foundation envisions a world where every mother and child thrives in health and hope, supported by loving communities and empowered through education. We aim to reduce maternal and infant mortality rates globally by fostering volunteerism and encouraging generous donations that aide to improve medical resources, creating a future where every life is cherished and nurtured.

In 2026, the Stephanie-Ekua Global Midwife Foundation will be traveling to the Dominican Republic on a mission, to train local healthcare providers in new movement techniques that encourage healthy vaginal births and reduce unnecessary c-sections.

3. Our people


Stephanie Gray,
Certified Nurse Midwife

Founder, Owner, and CEO

Stephanie is a certified nurse midwife and philanthropist with over 20 years of experience in women’s care. She began her career as a nurse assistant, advanced to a registered nurse, and for the past 14 years has practiced midwifery with excellence and compassion.

Her work has allowed her to serve women and families from many different cultures, enriching both her knowledge and her approach to care. Each encounter has deepened her commitment to providing safe, respectful, and dignified maternal support.

In 2025, Stephanie volunteered as a midwife in Ghana, an experience that profoundly shaped her vision. Guided by her compassion for people, as well as her God-driven purpose, she founded the Stephanie-Ekua Global Midwife Foundation to help reduce maternal and infant mortality worldwide.

She believes that when one seed is planted, many more will flourish.
